The Jonas Brothers have cancelled a concert in Monterrey, Mexico due to security concerns and recent violence.
Monterrey is Mexico’s wealthiest city, but a series of murders and kidnappings have stunned residents in recent months, with over 400 deaths this year in the state of Nuevo Leon alone.
Concert promoter Live Nation said the concert was cancelled due to “a series of unfortunate events†and out of concern for fans, and the US Department of State issued a travel warning for the country, noting a shooting on August 20, 2010, in front of the American Foundation School in Monterrey and "the high incidence of kidnappings in the Monterrey area".
OMG, can you imagine if someone kidnapped the Jo Bros!?
