demi230pic.jpgDisney has issued a statement in support of their Camp Rock star Demi Lovato's choice to enter rehab to “seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues."

"We support Demi's decision to put her health first and we send her our best wishes," a company spokesperson told X17online.

Lovato, who said she was a victim of bullying, recently wrote an open letter as part of the Pacer Center's campaign, Teens Against Bullying:

“People say sticks and stones may break your bones but names can never hurt you, but that’s not true. Words can hurt. They hurt me. Things were said to me that I still haven’t forgotten.”

Reports claim Demi entered a facility to treat issues with eating and cutting. She withdrew from the Camp Rock Tour with the Jonas Brothers to do so and the concert's organizers at LiveNation confirm she will not be replaced.
