Gay Teen Graeme Taylor Speaks Out About Bullying And Sexuality On The Ellen DeGeneres Show

Graeme Taylor makes an appearance on this Monday's Ellen DeGeneres Show, and the 14-year-old student speaks out about being bullied and what it was like coming out of the closet at such a young age.
Taylor made national headlines when he made a speech in support of teacher, Jay McDowell, who was suspended without pay after ejecting a student from his classroom when he said he didn't accept gays. In his speech to the school board, the openly gay teen revealed he attempted suicide when he was nine years old because of fears of being bullied due to his sexuality.
Ellen chatted with the brave youngster about his struggles over the year, and at the end of it all, she surprised Graeme with a $10,000 scholarship.
