“It’s going to be the gift that keeps on giving,†exclaimed VP publisher Peter King Hunsinger.
Scantily clad 24-year-old Glee actresses Lea Michele and Dianna Agron posed for the controversial spread alongside fully-clothed male costar, Cory Monteith. While all of the stars are of legal age, the fact that they portray racy high school students raised more than a few eyebrows.
After the Parents Television Council called the photo spread "disturbing" and that it "borders on pedophilia", Agron apologized via twitter saying:
- "If you are hurt or these photos make you uncomfortable, it was never our intention. And if your eight-year-old has a copy of our GQ cover in hand, again I am sorry. But I would have to ask, how on earth did it get there?"
A recent X17online poll shows 48% of our readers disagree with the criticism, 35% think the shoot was scandalous, while 15% feel GQ will gain mega press either way!
