Gwyneth Paltrow wowed everyone with her guitar-playing skills at the CMA Awards last week, but she reveals to Entertainment Weekly that her "hands were bleeding and cramping" from playing "all the time." Aww!

"It sucked. I cried, like, five times at various points over the four months," Gwyn goes on. "It's really f***ing hard. It's much harder than it looks. But at the same time, it was kind of exhilarating to be learning chords and putting them together."

Hey, no one said trying to win an Oscar was easy!

Paltrow explains that she didn't want to "fake" her role of a country music star in Country Strong: "I wanted it to be as authentic as possible."
