Halle Berry On Playing Oprah In Biopic: "Not That I Wouldn't Want To"

Wearing leather from head to toe and a peek-a-boo top, Halle Berry enjoyed a date night with her BF Olivier Martinez at Il Piccolino restaurant in West Hollywood.

Now that her relationship with Martinez is out in the open, the A-list actress wants to set another rumor straight ... she is NOT playing Oprah Winfrey in a movie about the talk show host's life.

While visiting The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ms. Berry tells Ellen:

"I'm not going to play Oprah. No, I was just like [pretends she's holding a phone], 'Hey, Oprah, Am I playing you? Just tell me because nobody has told me this.' I don't know where these rumors come from."

However, if an opportunity were to arise, Halle adds, "Not that I wouldn't want to play Oprah if there was a movie."

We have a feeling Oprah wouldn't mind if one of Hollywood's hottest actresses would play the role. Come on, Lady O ... make it happen!
