John Travolta Hurries Home From Down Under As Kelly Preston Goes Into Labor

And unfortunately the actor had to cut his trip short!

John Travolta traveled to Australia for Qantas Airways' 90th anniversary celebrations - the gala took place in a hangar at Sydney Airport in the shadow of an Airbus A380.

But Travolta made it clear that he might have to jet home earlier than planned. He and wife Kelly Preston have already confirmed they're expecting a baby boy (to be named Benjamin) and Travolta promised he'd be by his wife's side for the silent birth.

The actor flew back to the States in his personal Boeing 707.

The couple already has a daughter, Ella. Their son Jett died tragically in 2009 after suffering a seizure.
