Police officers rushed to the Hollywood set of Law & Order: Los Angeles after a real semiautomatic handgun was found during filming. The new series features actors Skeet Ulrich and Corey Stoll who play LA detectives.

The gun, found by a cameraman working on the Culver city set, happened to be left on a rock in the filming area. As of now, who it belongs to, is unknown. The crime show has numerous weapons used for filming, however all of those guns shoot blanks.

LAPD say they're not sure if the semiautomatic gun has been linked to any previous crimes, but they plan on test-firing the weapon to find out.

Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the weapon being on set.
