A source in Windhoek, Namibia in southwest Africa, tells X17online exclusively that Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their clan are there now spending Christmas in their daughter Shiloh's birthplace.

The family was seen doing some last-minute holiday shopping at the local Maruba Mall and we're told: "They are really, truly beautiful people." Our source was amazed to see them in Namibia and thought they were equality as pretty in real life as in the magazines. She tells us: "They're certainly going to do a safari -- people don't come here and not go on safari. If you're looking for adventure, you can find it in Namibia."

Last week, Jolie told Ryan Seacrest on his KIISFM radio show: "We're going to travel and have an adventure because that's what we love to do." Apparently their non-stop globetrotting to Budapest (for Jolie to shoot her directorial debut), then around western Europe to promote The Tourist wasn't adventure enough -- the clan headed back to Shiloh's and Zahara's roots in Africa.

Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt was born at the Welwitschia Clinic in nearby Walvis Bay in May, 2006. An employee at a lodge in Windhoek tells us that was the last time she had heard of the couple being in Namibia. Local officials were helpful in protecting the privacy of the family during their stay there four and a half years ago, keeping photographers and other journalists away from the clinic. Jolie adopted Zahara Marley as a newborn in 2005 from Ethiopia.
