Anne Hathaway is jumping on the Glee bandwagon, and we couldn't be happier!

The Oscar host is gearing up to play Golden Globe winner Chris Colfer's lesbian aunt - the long lost sister of his deceased mom - on an upcoming episode of the super-popular Glee.

The show's creator Ryan Murphy tells People magazine about Hathaway's role:

"We just finalized a deal with Anne tonight to come onto the show. She's already created her role. She wants to play the lesbian aunt of Chris Colfer. Because everyone needs a lesbian aunt."

So true.

We were beyond thrilled to see Colfer nab a Globe for Best Supporting Actor last night. His phenomenal role as gay teen Kurt Hummel was definitely deserving of the honor. Way to go Chris, and congratulations to the entire Glee cast. Keep up the good work guys!
