Judge Michael Pastor ruled Tuesday there is enough evidence to warrant a manslaughter trial for Dr. Conrad Murray and his involvement in the untimely death of Michael Jackson.

Deputy District Attorney David Walgren told the judge in his closing statement:

"It was not Michael Jackson's time to go. Michael Jackson is not here today because of the negligence and reckless acts of Dr. Murray."

Judge Pastor's ruling follows a six-day preliminary hearing with more than 20 witnesses called to testify. If convicted, Murray could face a maximum of 4 years in prison.

UPDATE: Pastor has also just ordered the suspension of Dr. Conrad Murray's medical license, as part of the condition to Murray's bail in the manslaughter case.
