conraddelayed.jpgDr. Conrad Murray, the man facing involuntary manslaughter charges in the death of Michael Jackson, has arrived in court for the second day of the preliminary hearing.

The hearing will determine whether there is enough evidence to send the case to trial.

Katherine and Joe Jackson are currently in the courthouse. We're told Katherine was in great spirits. Dr. Murray also arrived, appearing upbeat, wearing a blue suit and yellow tie.

Joe Jackson, who spoke yesterday to X17online exclusively, told us he believes his son did not kill himself with a fatal dose of propofol ... which is what prosecutors are claiming. Jackson told us:

"He had too much responsibility. He's a Jackson, he doesn't think like that. One month before he died he told Katherine THEY were going to kill him for his publishing catalogue. He said THEY were going to kill him. Why would he kill himself?"

Michael Jackson's former bodyguard, Faheem Muhammad, is today's first witness. He has told the judge that he was on the way to the bank when he got the call from Michael's personal assistant that "something was wrong in the house."

When Muhammad returned to the house, he found Dr. Murray and Alberto Alvarez, Michael's logistics director, in the room with Michael. Muhammad adds that "Michael's eyes were open and his mouth was open and his feet were hanging off the end of the bed ... appeared Jackson was dead." It's believed Alvarez made the 911 call.

We're told LaToya Jackson has just arrived to the courthouse, but is not yet in the courtroom.

Update: 9:37am - Janet is at the courthouse in a black tux style suit with black nail polish and hair slicked back.

Update: 10:30am - The 911 call was played in the courtroom. While working on Michael, Dr. Murray was heard saying, "You know this is the first time I’ve given mouth to mouth but I have to do it he is my friend."

Update: 11:15am -Alberto Alvarez testifies Dr. Conrad Murray instructed him to remove bottles from Michael's bedroom. He also says the doctor asked him to remove an IV bag with a milky-white substance, then call 911.

Update: 2:00pm - Kai Chase, Michael's chef, takes to the stand. After seeing Dr. Murray running down the stairs, she recalls telling Prince, "Something may be wrong with your dad." At the time, she says, housekeepers began crying.

Update: 2:15pm - Chase tells the courtroom that MJ was on a "healthy diet" ... up until the day he died.

Update: 2:30pm - Chase had testified MJ was on an extremely healthy diet, dining on seared ahi tuna salad for lunch the day before he died.

Update: 2:55pm - Richard Senneff, an EMT, arrived at Jackson's house just 4 minutes after Dr. Murray had called 911. Senneff said that Jackson "looked like a hospice patient."

Update: 3:05pm - Senneff adds that he believes Murray waited at least 20 minutes before calling 911. By the time Senneff got to Michael, the EKG was flatlined.

Update: 3:10pm - Senneff testifies that Murray told him Michael was taking lorazepam, but Propofol was never mentioned. Senneff adds that Dr. Murray said at the time that Jackson was dehydrated.
