georgemarriage.jpgAlthough we're not shocked to hear confirmed bachelor George Clooney say he'll never walk down the aisle again, we were a bit surprised to know that one of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors was already married once!

In an interview on Piers Morgan Tonight (which aired last night), Clooney, who was joined by his father Nick, said he would never get married again.

When Nick revealed that he was "yearning for the moment" when his son would tie the knot, George responded, "I hate to blow your whole news story, but I was married, so I gave it a shot."

Clooney married actress Talia Balsam in 1989, but the couple divorced in 1993.

George went on to say that his failed first marriage should have "proven how good I was at it."

So where does this leave George and current girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis? Well...
