The 16-year-old singer is taking a break from his booming music career, and girlfriend Selena Gomez, to focus on his acting with a guest spot on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. All you Bieber fans, don't worry ... the black eye is just makeup. Whew!
Along with the photo, Biebs tweeted:

Bieber's CSI episode, in which he plays a troubled teen, will air on February 17.
