blakemethmom217.jpg She may not be starring in the Sex And The City prequel, but Blake Lively has revealed that she's set to play a meth-addicted mother in the upcoming film Hick!

MTV reports that Kirsten Dunst was in talks for the role, but somehow Blake was able to work her magic and snag the part instead. The film is about a young girl (played by Chloe Moretz) who flees from her home in Nebraska and runs away to Las Vegas, and not only are there guns involved, but robbery and even more drugs!

Blake told ITN the other day, "I play a mother of a 13-year-old, a southern woman who's also a meth addict. So it's pretty different [from Gossip Girl]." We'll say! After her performance in The Town, it seems like she's got an itch to play troubled characters, which is a nice change of pace from Serena van der Woodsen...
