He may have lost out on the Best New Artist Grammy, but last night Justin Bieber walked away with another statue -- the trophy for MVP at the Celebrity All-Star Basketball Game!

Despite the fact that the Biebs was on the West Coast losing team (he was beat by the East 54-49), the boy wonder was named the most valuable player for his eight points, four assists and two rebounds in the game.

Justin joined teammates Zac Levi of Chuck, R&B singer Trey Songz, rapper Romeo Miller, and Rob Kardashian on the team which also contained former Lakers player Rick Fox.

“I’m just running back and forth,” Bieber said of the game. “I’m controlling this whole team. I’m just kidding.”

As soon as the game ended, the diminutive Bieber and his bouncing hair were led off of the court by bodyguards, much to the chagrin of his screaming fans.
