This is definitely the year for superhero films and fresh out of the gate is X-Men: First Class. The action flick, produced by Bryan Singer, is packed with out-of-this-world effects and a hot, new cast.

Jennifer Lawrence takes over for Rebecca Romijn as sexy Mystique while January Jones and James McAvoy add sizzle to the film's 1960's setting.

When asked about the pressure to come up with something new and exciting for the X-Men franchise, Bryan Singer said:

    “You can never think about that. That’s just something you can torture yourself with or stress out about, but you can’t do that and sit there and think, ‘What are they doing? We need to do that.’ .... Your goal is to make a cool movie. You need to stay focused on that goal.”


X-Men: First Class hits theaters June 3.
