Les Moonves, CEO of CBS, is finally responding to Charlie Sheen's numerous public rants about the halting of production of the network's hit show, Two and a Half Men.
Speaking at Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference in San Francisco today, Moonves said, "I wish [Sheen] would have worked this hard to promote himself for an Emmy."
Over the past few days, Charlie Sheen has granted interviews to The Today Show, Piers Morgan and Howard Stern, just to name a few.
Despite Charlie hitting out at the network, claiming he would sue CBS, Moonves has said he hopes the show will return with the original cast intact.
"Going down the road ... I don't know what's going to happen," Moonves said. "I hope it's back. We'll see."
Moonves has also previously stated that Men fares perfectly well in reruns. So how did it fare in last night's rerun?
It won the night.
