X17 EXCLUSIVE - Sheriff’s Department Investigating Leak Of Christina Aguilera’s Mugshot

Christina Aguilera’s mugshot was not supposed to be released, however the singer’s booking photo has hit the web … on what appears to be a photograph taken off a computer screen. E! Online obtained the photo.
When X17online contacted the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department, they told us exclusively, “We don’t know how that got out. The situation is currently under investigation.â€Â
The 30-year-old Burlesque star and her boyfriend Matthew Rutler were taken into custody Tuesday morning at 2:45am. Rutler was charged with driving under the influence … and Aguilera, a passenger in the car, was booked for public intoxication.
In a press release from the Sheriff’s Department, Aguilera’s mugshot was addressed with the following statement:
“Because she was taken into custody solely for her safety and the safety of the public, no charges will be filed. As a result, her booking photo will not be released.â€Â
Aguilera’s camp has yet to comment on the mugshot’s release.
