Halle Berry Wins Top Honors At NAACP Awards

Halle Berry took home the prize for best actress for her starring role in Frankie & Alice at the NAACP Image Awards Friday night.
Also celebrating wins were Denzel Washington, who won a best actor award for The Book of Eli, LL Cool J was named outstanding actor in a drama series for NCIS: Los Angeles, Ice Cube won best supporting actor for the comedy series Are We There Yet? and Sofia Vergara, who was shut out of the Emmys and the Golden Globes, won best supporting actress for Modern Family.
Tyler Perry also took home awards for his feature film For Colored Girls, winning outstanding motion picture and directing honors at the fete.
