With her furry, short white jacket and her long gray/silver skirt, Katie Holmes looked like a Disney princess last night during an outing in New York. Only problem ... she kinda forgot to do her hair!

If she went to the trouble to put on such fancy clothes, you'd think she'd spend more time on her 'do -- maybe a chignon or big, beautiful curls pulled back on the sides -- but this was a bit too 'au naturel' for her overall look.

And where were Tom and Suri? Looks like mommy was enjoying a night out with her stylist and co-designer of her clothing line, Jeanne Yang. The pair just sat down yesterday with reporters to discuss their Fall 2011 collection. Click thru to read more about their new looks for Holmes & Yang.

They're in their second season at Barneys and when interviewed by reporters at the upscale retailer yesterday, Holmes & Yang explained why they've included a $2000 dress in this collection ... Because it's made in the U.S. of A., that's why! Yang explained that it's important to have their pieces produced in America and that it's more expensive to do so and they'll have a lower profit margin doing so, but that it's worth it to her and to her partner Katie.
