Mel Gibson's Mugshot Released

Mel Gibson turned himself in last night to be booked on misdemeanor battery charges, and now the 55-year-old actor's mugshot has been released. Gibson, who was accused of battering his ex Oksana Grigorieva, was given 16 hours of community service and one year of counseling.

As we reported earlier, the judge gave the 55-year-old actor one week to turn himself in, and last night just after 9:00pm, Gibson followed those orders by surrendering to the El Segundo Police Department for booking.

The judge has ruled that Gibson must be under informal probation for three years.
