Kate Hudson looked positively radiant while heading to a Letterman taping, and we're guessing it has something to do with her engagement to musician Matthew Bellamy!

Hudson revealed the happy news on the Today Show Wednesday morning, after Matt Lauer spotted the huge rock on her wedding ring finger.

Kate confessed: "I haven't really announced it, I was waiting for someone to notice."
Hudson wouldn't elaborate on how the engagement went down, but she did say it took place about a week ago in New York and it was "very romantic".
