Alec Baldwin Considering A Run For Mayor of NYC

Move over Arnold Schwarzenegger! Alec Baldwin may become the latest actor-turned-politician to run for office.
A source tells The Daily that the 30 Rock star is "mulling over a 2013 run for the Mayorship of New York City."
Baldwin's rep released the following statement:
With all the drama surrounding the online photo scandal involving politician Anthony Weiner, a source close to Baldwin adds that "the scandal may have opened the door" for the actor to move into the political spotlight. At a press conference on Monday, Weiner, 46, admitted to having online affairs with six women in the past three years. He also confessed that lewd photos online were, indeed, him.
Baldwin recently hit up Twitter to voice his suggestions regarding national policy. Read what he had to say ... after the jump.
Baldwin gave suggestions for investment in infrastructure, higher tolls and single commuter fees and clean energy research. We'll see what happens come election time!
