amanda_brumfield060211-2.jpgBilly Bob Thornton's estranged daughter Amanda Brumfield, has been convicted of aggravated manslaughter in the death of her friend's 1-year-old daughter but was found not guilty of first-degree murder.

Brumfield, 32, claimed her friend's baby girl, Olivia Madison Garcia, suffered a fall while Brumfield was babysitting in October 2008 -- that the girl had simply fallen out of her playpen. But prosecutors argued such a fall wouldn't have accounted for a three-and-a-half inch skull fracture and bleeding and swelling found on the girl.

Brumfield was found not guilty of a third charge of aggravated child abuse. She will be sentenced in July.
