Maria Shriver probably wouldn't have chosen to have been thrust into the spotlight the way she has been ... which probably explains why she's not smiling here.

Still, we think the mother of four and former journalist is weathering the storm quite well. She's been gracious and she's kept her chin up since news broke a few weeks ago that her hubby Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a child with the family's long-time housekeeper.

Yesterday we spotted Shriver running errands in Beverly Hills in a monochromatic khaki look which we love. We think if Maria decides to go it alone and divorce Arnie, she'd find herself a hot new man in no time!
