Beyonce Fired Her Dad Over Accusations Of Theft

Everyone was a little surprised when Beyonce Knowles parted ways with her longtime manager and dad, Matthew Knowles, in March. Now the reason why might be coming to light.
According to legal documents just filed by Matthew, Beyonce fired him because she believed he was stealing money from her.
At the time, both parties said they were still on good terms but were vague about the reasons for the split, with Matthew calling it a mutual decision.
But in new legal papers, Matthew says Live Nation Entertainment made false claims about him to Beyonce in hopes of getting involved in her 2011 world tour. Matthew says Live Nation told the singer that he "had stolen money from Beyonce on her most recent tour or otherwise taken funds that [he] was not entitled to."
Beyonce's lawyers apparently supported the claims; the firm conducted an audit of Matthew that concluded he had stolen money.
Matthew is denying all of the allegations and asking a judge to take new depositions with Live Nation employees to determine how they arrived at their conclusions about him.
