He's played the rough-and-tough James Bond, but even Daniel Craig was shocked in the editing room as he watched scenes from his upcoming movie, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
In a new interview with Esquire, Craig talks about how "adult" the highly anticipated English language adaptation of the hit book is.
Craig is talking about David Fincher, director of the film, whose past credits include the violent Fight Club.
If the poster is any indication, the movie is sure to shock audiences as well. What do you think -- is America ready for this movie?
The film also stars Rooney Mara, Robin Wright, Christopher Plummer and Stellan Skarsgard.

- "It's as adult as you can possibly make it. This is adult drama. I grew up ... watching The Godfather and that, movies that were made for adults. And this is a $100 million R-rated movie. Nobody makes those anymore. And Fincher, he's not holding back. They've given him free rein. He showed me some scenes recently, and my hand was over my mouth, going, 'Are you f**king serious?'"
