Elizabeth Hurley Joins The Gossip Girl Cast

Liz Hurley is heading to the Big Apple!It was a blessing in disguise when NBC cancelled Wonder Woman, because Miss Hurley just landed a much cooler gig -- she's officially joining the cast of Gossip Girl for the upcoming fifth season.
The sexy Brit will play Diana Payne, "a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with" according to TVLine.
Executive producers said in a statement of Hurley joining the cast: "Elizabeth's sense of humor, intelligence and beauty fit the GG world perfectly. We feel very fortunate to have her."
Gossip Girl season five premieres Sept. 26 on the CW.
