Aah, Hollywood nepotism at its finest!
Well, almost.
Despite rumors, Kristen Stewart will not star in her mom's directorial debut, K-11.
The original whispers weren't completely unfounded - Kristen had once been in talks to play a transsexual inmate in Jules Stewart's movie. Now word is that The Twilight Saga star has dropped out of the film entirely, though in reality, she hadn't been involved in the movie for quite some time. A source close to Kristen told E!:
Aside from the Kristen rumors, the film has gone through its share of troubles already. It reportedly began pre-production back in late 2008. Then after discussing her role in the movie for nearly two years, Kristen's Twilight costar Nikki Reed backed out in April 2010.
All seems to be looking up, however, as K-11 finally began production this week in and around Los Angeles. The movie is about successful record producer Raymond Saxx (Goran Visnjic), who ends up in the Los Angeles County lock-up after a three-day drug binge. He wakes up under the watchful eye of Butterfly, a transgender young man who explains to him that "K-11" is the unit where people get sent if they'd be in danger in the main population, and just a hazy recollection of why he's in jail to begin with. Ray soon goes on a nightmarish journey of survival as he tries to navigate K-11.
Listen, we know Kristen's busy, but where's the love for Mom?!
But Jules, a script writer, is pressing on and even keeping the movie in the fam. Who's starring in it if Kristen's not? Find out ... after the jump.
Kristen's brother, Cameron, will star in K-11. Well, almost.

- "Someone's been spreading rumors, per usual. She was connected to it forever ago, before it was even financed, back when it was more of an idea."

Naturally!
He's set to play a jail inmate named Sledgehammer. Classy, eh? This will be Cameron's movie debut.
