Selena Gomez, Christina Aguilera Nominated For ALMA Awards

Selena Gomez is no stranger to the ALMA Awards, and this year she's being recognized for her work as a rising Latina singer and actress.

The awards show honors Latinos in the entertainment industry, and this year includes big names like Selena, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Alba, Penelope Cruz and Enrique Iglesias. It's being hosted again by Eva Longoria and nominee George Lopez.

Selena has three nods for Best Movie Actress, Favorite TV Actress and Favorite Female Music Artist. This shouldn't come as much of a surprise since her song "Who Says" has probably been stuck in your head for days already. (And if it hasn't ... we're sorry we just made that happen.)

Also crossing awards genres in three categories is Christina. The songstress has been nominated for Favorite Movie Actress, Favorite TV Reality, Variety, or Comedy Personality or Act and Favorite Female Music Artist.

The 2011 NCLR ALMA awards will air live Friday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
