Tilda Swinton is showing off her masculine side, but with her track record of giving off that androgynous vibe, we aren't surprised. The Academy Award-winning actress looks hot in her W Magazine spread!

Swinton, who has 13-year-old twins, is starring in We Need To Talk About Kevin ... where she plays a mother with a violent son.

The 50-year-old star, who's known for playing diverse movie roles, said the following about why she chooses to play certain characters. She tells the mag:

“I have to feel compassion…. It’s not about liking the person, but it is about understanding. The Greeks speak about the violence of the real. I want to get at something real.”
