We're told the couple is going through a rough patch, though apparently it's not too serious. The source tells us: "Joel is upset with Nicole because she promised, when she got pregnant with Sparrow, that she'd be a hands-on mom and with her work and exercise schedule the past month, she's hardly been at home. Harlow and Sparrow are with a nanny all the time and Joel's not too happy about it."Nicole Richie is workin' it on out!
