Britney Spears' Vanguard Award Acceptance Speech: Why Was It All About BeyoncÉ?

Britney Spears was presented the Video Music Awards' Video Vanguard Award at Sunday night's VMAs, but for some reason -- she spent her whole acceptance speech talking about Beyoncé (see video above)!
We wanted Brit to reflect on her career! Talk about the milestones! We were a little disappointed, though earlier in the evening she did send her love to her sons and boyfriend Jason Trawick when accepting the Best Pop Video Award.
Still, the pregnant Beyoncé did look great -- and she killed it with her performance!

The tribute (see video above) was a short, dance-only tribute that showcased some of Brit's iconic looks. Yes, the dancing and costumes were cool -- but we thought some big names were going to perform some of Brit's songs!
