Last Wednesday, Lindsay Lohan signed on to be the new face of German designer Philipp Plein's campaign - and it turns out that, when she signed on the dotted line, Lindsay hadn't met Plein or seen any of his clothes.

Lohan did a photo shoot for Plein in Italy on Saturday -- the first day she'd ever seen his designs. They met for the first time on Friday.

“Something important to know about this collection is that its expressing something a little bit more edgy,” Lindsay said, before admitting she hadn't met the designer until the weekend.

Work is work, we suppose!
