Charlie Sheen may have missed the deadline to submit himself for an Emmy this year -- twice (the submission period was during that little breakdown of his), but he will not be absent from the show.
According to Deadline, Sheen will be making a surprise appearance at the awards show, which airs Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. PT on Fox.
Word around pre-Emmys parties in Hollywood was that Sheen will be a presenter. The stint would be a good marketing opportunity for Sheen, who in recent days has hit the talk show circuit to promote his Comedy Central roast, which airs Monday night (the same night Two And A Half Men premieres.)
In addition, the outlet reports that viewers should expect host Jane Lynch to do a Jersey Shore spoof, and that the Lonely Island crew (Andy Samberg's pals) will perform live.
