George Clooney caused quite the stir when he stopped by the Late Show With David Letterman on Wednesday!

Tons of fans showed up to greet one of the sexiest men alive. He's doing a final press push for The Ides of March, which opens this weekend. So far the movie has almost an 80 percent approval rating on RottenTomatoes.com!

George's interview with Dave airs Wednesday night.

George did tons of press in NYC on Wednesday -- he also chatted with TIME, joking with the mag why he chose Ryan Gosling for the film, "He was cheaper. He hasn't worked in awhile. I felt bad for him."

He also poked fun at why he doesn't use Twitter, saying, "I will drink in the evening and I don't want anything that I could possibly write at midnight to actually end my career."

How can you not love Clooney?
