Reese Witherspoon played the fun mom role on Tuesday -- she took son Deacon and his pals to California Pizza Kitchen!

The group grabbed dinner at CPK after school -- Deacon's pals were still in their polo shirts. Deacon, 7, celebrates his birthday on Oct. 23.

Reese sported the perfect mom outfit; jeans and a cute cardigan. Love it!
