angelina-jolie-agency.jpgAfter working without agency representation for the past five years, Angelina Jolie has signed with IFA Talent, which will "help her find smaller character-based roles in independent projects," according to THR.

Though Jolie is repped by UTA as a writer and a director, she hasn't had a movie agent since she left CAA in 2006. Jolie is still with her longtime manager Geyer Kosinski at Media Talent Group, and sources tell THR that Jolie is looking to move away from "studio tentpoles or franchises" and return to her roots in drama.

After shooting to stardom with 1999's Girl Interrupted, Jolie has appeared in flicks like The Tourist, Salt and Wanted, all of which received lukewarm reviews from critics and fans. Remember the outrage last year when The Tourist was nominated for 3 Golden Globes? We know Jolie is an amazing actress, so it will be interesting to see where this latest career move takes her!
