Demi Moore was admitted to an LA-area hospital Monday night after a 911 call was made from her home.

The actress, who recently announced she and husband Ashton Kutcher would divorce, was assessed by paramedics and then driven to the emergency room after it was decided she needed further treatment.

Moore's rep released a statement regarding the actress' treatment:

"Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."
