Leslie Carter Died Of A Drug Overdose, Police Report Says

Nick and Aaron Carter's sister Leslie died Tuesday night in New York as the result of a drug overdose, according to a police report.The 25-year-old singer's stepmom, Ginger Carter, called 911 telling paramedics Leslie was "asleep on her bed and not breathing."
The police report said that Leslie, who was taking medication for depression, had been suffering from mental illness for a number of years.
Paramedics who responded to the 911 call say the following prescription drugs were found near Leslie's body: Olanzapine, Cyclobensaprine and Alprazolam.
Leslie is survived by her husband Mike and daughter Alyssa.
- "Nick Carter is thankful to the many people and the fans who have shared their wishes and prayers during this tragic time. We want to let the fans know the tour [Backstreet Boys] will go on as promised. Performing is cathartic to me and I am dedicating the rest of my tour to my sister since she loved to watch me perform."
