Ricky Martin covers the April issue of Spanish Vanity Fair, and the pop star poses with his adorable 3-year-old twins, Matteo and Valentino. Ricky's partner Carlos Gonzalez Abella also appears in the spread, and according to the mag, this is the first time Carlos has joined Ricky and the boys in an official photo shoot.
Martin explains how they chose his egg donor, telling the publication, "I saw the photo and I said to myself: Who is this woman, so angelic, so transparent? I did not rent a womb. The fundamental conservatives use that expression. They loaned me an abdomen. I didn't pay for it. I would give my life for the woman who helped me bring my sons into this world."
So what about his past relationships with women? "I've slept with women and I've fallen in love with them and I've felt wonderful things. There was love, passion. I don’t regret anything, any of the relationships I've lived, they taught me a lot, both men and women equally."
Ricky also states that supporting gay rights is incredibly important to him, and if Spain were to modify their same-sex marriage law, he says, "I would stand up and unite with my community."
Good for him for being so open about his life!
