Only Gwen Stefani would wear this get-up to a family farm to pick vegetables. And guess what ... we love it!

There's no down time for the fearless fashionista who donned a checked bomber jacket, baggy khakis, high-top Converse, some fierce cat-eye sunnies, a black felt hat and a ribbed tank top that harkens back to her early No Doubt days.

The totally hands-on mom took Zuma and Kingston to Underwood Family Farms just outside LA, on Saturday. Every weekend's a field trip for these youngsters ... mom never sits at home -- she takes her boys out and about to enjoy all the city has to offer. And this weekend was no exception.

The trio picked fruits and veggies (and even brought some home) and took time out for a pony ride. It's not the first time they've been -- it's a family favorite.
