Kristen Stewart Gets In Deep Marie Claire

Just two short months before the scandalous cheating pictures of Kristen Stewart and her married Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, hit the web, the actress looked happy and carefree as she posed in a pool for a Marie Claire photo shoot in Cannes, France.

The pix will be featured in the mag's September issue, and also show the Twilight star posing with her On the Road costars, Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley.

While the her jilted ex Robert Pattinson is currently hiding out at his Water for Elephants costar Reese Witherspoon's Ojai, Calif. ranch, the 22-year-old has been MIA since the scandal broke in July.

While the future of Rob and Kristen remains uncertain, they are still slated to promote the final installment of Twilight, Breaking Dawn: Part 2, in November. Awkward!
