Rihanna showed off a super short and sexy 'do at the Staples Center while rehearsing for the MTV Music Video Awards.

We haven't seen the gorgeous songstress wearing this much clothing in awhile, but the "Where Have You Been" singer can pull off just about any look ... even jeans and sneakers.

Can't wait to see which sizzling outfit she'll be wearing on stage tonight for the big show.
