KAlley090112_02_230.jpgKirstie Alley dropped a bombshell on Monday night when she revealed that her and the late Patrick Swayze had a secret relationship back in the 80s.

The 61-year-old told ET that although they were both married at the time, she and Swayze began an emotional relationship while the two were shooting the 1985 film North and South. She admitted that even though things got pretty serious between the two, having claimed they fell in love, no affair actually took place.

"Both of us were married," Alley said. "But again, I think what we did was worse, because I think when you fall in love with someone when you're married, you jeopardize your own marriage and their marriage. It's doubly bad."

Alley also mentioned that she's still friends with Swayze's wife Lisa Niemi and isn't sure if she knew about their relationship.
