"We have mutually decided to end our marriage. We'll always be family and continue to cherish our relationship based on the special love, integrity, and respect we have always enjoyed," the couple said in a statement.

Shortly after the news broke, Judd tweeted, "Family forever. @dariofranchitti" and Franchitti added, "@ashleyjudd family forever."

The Missing actress and the three-time Indy 500 champion tied the knot in Scotland on December 12, 2001.
