sofia-cancels-230.jpgSofia Vergara has reportedly been forced to cancel her appearance at the Academy Awards this weekend, according to The Daily Mail.

The Modern Family actress is apparently in the hospital for an operation, and while a source close to her noted that she "is fine and there is nothing to worry about," she'll also be pulling out of her appearance at Madonna's party.

Sofia and fiance Nick Loeb were spotted together on Friday night at BOA in West Hollywood, and earlier in the week she returned to California after a trip to New York.

Eyewitnesses said she looked fine, but her rep has yet to release a statement on her condition.
