Reese Witherspoon Cancels Appearance On Late Night With Jimmy Fallon After Arrest

Reese Witherspoon has cancelled her Tuesday appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, according to the show's website.

The Oscar winner was originally set to appear with NFL star Eli Manning, but her slot has been filled by comedian Adam Ferrara. Downgrade! And seeing as she's got a movie to promote right now, producers can't be happy about that. But you know what they say ... any press is good press!

Reese and husband Jim Toth were arrested in Atlanta on Friday after Jim was pulled over on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Jim blew a .139 on a breathalyzer test and was taken into custody, and Reese was arrested for disorderly conduct after disobeying a police officer who told her to stay inside the car.

“Mrs. Witherspoon began to hang out the window and say that she did not believe that I was a real police officer,” the police report read. “I told Mrs. Witherspoon to sit on her butt and be quiet. Mrs. Witherspoon asked, ‘Do you know my name?’ I answered, ‘No, I don’t need to know your name.’ I then added, ‘right now.’ Mrs. Witherspoon stated, ‘You’re about to find out who I am.’”

While Reese and her hubby have been laying low, they did attend the New York City premiere of Mud last night. Wonder when she'll pop up again next? And when will she speak out about the incident on camera? We're dying to see what she has to say!
