amanda_bynes_arrest_230.jpgTroubled former actress Amanda Bynes, 27, was arrested in New York Thursday night after throwing a bong out of her West 47th Street apartment window, according to reports.

Bynes was booked for criminal possession of marijuana, reckless endangerment and felony tampering with evidence.

A building employee called police when he saw Bynes in the lobby with a joint, acting erratically, TMZ reports.

The 'wigged' out star was held temporarily for psychiatric testing before being booked at a local police precinct and then taken to night court just before midnight. She's being held there, awaiting a judge -- she could get a hearing sometime this morning.
